Choose a suitable, heat resistant container to create your own candle.
Position the wick centrally within the container.
- IMPORTANT Ensure that wicks are at least 5cm (2 inches) away from the edge of the container and at least 10cm (4 inches) away from another wick. This is to ensure that the molten wax from individual wicks does not merge to form one mass of molten wax.
Pour in the wax crystals.
After filling, ensure the wick is only 1cm (10mm) above the level of the crystals, and light.
Once a wick has burnt out, leave the molten wax for 15 minutes to harden into a solid lump. Once the lump has formed remove it from the remaining wax crystals.
Insert a new wick into the centre of the remaining crystals.
Top up with new crystals and re-light.
